Our Story<\/h2>\n

Dr. John Whitehead (1929-2009) graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College of Guelph in 1952.\u00a0 He established himself in Ormstown the same year and started his practice from his home with the assistance of his wife.<\/p>\n

In 1967, he built an office in the village at 15, Gale Street.<\/p>\n

Dr. Whitehead welcomed in his team Dr. Mario Lefort<\/span><\/a> in 1979 and Dr. Brent Hooker in 1980.\u00a0 They founded the Ormstown Veterinary Clinic in 1981. Dr. Howard Struthers arrived in 1981 and became a partner in 1982. Dr. Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Lanthier<\/span><\/a> arrived in 1988 and joined the partnership in 1989.<\/p>\n

In the early nineties, it became obvious that the small animal sector had growing needs. Two small animal veterinarians were hired to better serve this clientele.<\/p>\n

Dr.\u00a0John Whitehead practiced veterinary medicine in both the small and large animals\u2019 sectors for over forty years before his retirement in 1992. The following year, the veterinary clinic was expanded and renovated. In 1995, Dr.\u00a0Kelly Rewbotham<\/span><\/a> became a partner in the team.<\/p>\n

In 2005, with an expanding clientele and team of veterinarians and employees, the idea of a new building started to take place.<\/p>\n

In September 2007, the construction of the new building started. On March 25, 2008, the whole team was eager to move into the new Ormstown Veterinary Hospital. The total floor space went from 2,900 square feet to 8,500 square feet in the new installations.<\/p>\n

The team of owners is now formed of Dr.\u00a0Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Lanthier<\/span><\/a>, Dr.\u00a0Kelly Rewbotham<\/a><\/span>, Dr.\u00a0Jodi Wallace<\/span><\/a>, Dr Karine Gagn\u00e9<\/span><\/a>, Dr.\u00a0Natalie Bergeron<\/span><\/a>, Dr. Judith L\u00e9ger,<\/span><\/a>\u00a0Dr. Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Brunelle<\/span><\/a> and Dr. Vicky Sedgwick<\/a><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

From one visionary veterinarian and his wife in 1952, our team now counts:<\/p>\n
