Dr. Jodi Wallace grew up on a dairy farm in Herdman, Quebec. She studied veterinary medicine at the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph, Ontario. During her studies, she was involved in various research projects, including the evaluation of the CMT in calving and the treatment protocols for intra-mammary infections. She graduated in April 2002.

Afterwards, she became an extension veterinarian for Quality Milk Production Services at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. At that point, she did preliminary studies with LactoCorder to evaluate the effects of various milking methods. She then worked as a large animal veterinarian in Saint-Benoît-Mirabel, Quebec, for two years.

Jodi came back home in 2004 to work at the Ormstown Veterinary Hospital. In 2007, she became an owner associate at OVH. At the same time, she pursued her Masters in Veterinary Sciences at the Faculté de médecine vétérinaire in Saint-Hyacinthe. She did a research project on Petrifilm 3M for mastitis diagnostic in dairy cows, which she completed in 2009.

Aside from general practice, Jodi does consultation on mastitis and milk quality. She gives conferences and seminars for veterinarians and dairy producers throughout North America. Jodi regularly writes articles for the Producteur de Lait and Canadian Ayrshire Review. She now lives with her family on a 100-cow dairy farm in Howick.
