Émy Duteau

Animal Health Technician

Cats-dogs and other small animals

Émy received her Animal Health Technician diploma from the Animal Health Technology program at CEGEP de St-Hyacinthe in May 2023 where she also completed one semester in Biomedical Analysis. She is currently studying to complete her Veterinary Technician National Exam (VTNE) to become a certified Animal Health Technician. Émy is very interested in animal behaviour, and is thrilled to be able to use her knowledge frequently at the clinic.

In her spare time Émy is very active in all seasons, playing various outdoor sports during the winter, and enjoying frequent Ski-Doo rides. In the summer she enjoys fishing and playing soccer, even having competed at the Jeux de Québec.

When you meet Émy at the clinic you will be impressed with her perseverance, creativity and problem-solving skills as well as her open mindedness. Émy will soothe your nerves with her reassuring and calm spirit. If you are lucky you might get to hear about her beloved cat “Gros Chat” or her super talented Guinea Pig “Robby”!
